Timeless Elegance: A Look Inside the Chanel Suite at the Ritz Paris

There are luxury hotel suites and then there’s the Chanel Suite at the Ritz Paris. More than just a place to stay, this suite is a look inside to something iconic in one of the most legendary hotels. Paris and Chanel? Of course Nazeli Design is going to have to unpack this.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel didn’t just visit the Ritz, she lived there. For over three decades, from 1937 until her passing in 1971, the Ritz Paris was her chosen home. So it’s only fitting that in 2016, when the hotel reopened after a multi-year renovation, it unveiled the Chanel Suite: a stunning tribute to her unmistakable style and enduring influence.

The suite itself is just understated glamour and is both spacious and intimate. Designed with the help of the House of Chanel, the suite embodies mirrored walls, Coromandel lacquer screens, and a soft color palette of creams, whites, and black accents. Everything whispers elegance. The living room is flooded with natural light and punctuated with books and art. The bedroom is serene and minimalist, adorned with lion motifs and camellias, Chanel’s personal symbols.

Staying in the Chanel Suite isn’t just about sleeping in a luxurious hotel, it’s about slipping into a legacy. From the custom embroidered linens which is a Ritz specialty to the Chanel-scented amenities, every detail is intentional, refined, and deeply personal. Even the bathroom channels classic French opulence, complete with a deep soaking tub.

Although there are many special qualities and amenities to the suite, I think my personal favorite is that guests of the suite receive VIP access to the CHANEL boutique, private viewings, and bespoke services tailored to the fashion house’s most discerning clientele. It’s a rare fusion of place, personality, and prestige. To walk those rooms is to walk in Coco’s footsteps, to understand not just her designs, but the world she lived in, and the way she saw beauty. This one is for lovers of fashion, history, and timeless style, the Chanel Suite isn’t just a stay, it’s a story.
