It’s finally time for the Nazeli Design team to break down the home of the one and only Barbie! We have been waiting a long time for this moment and cannot believe it's finally time. The iconic dream house is inspired by none other than the original doll house and Palm Springs aesthetic. With its pink Barbie galore we are more than excited to watch the movie.

They had to obviously build the set off the original to fit a much larger scale with all the different hues of pink and fuchsia. They did an excellent job at breaking down every detail such as the slide and elevators all the way down to her closet. Although the majority of the movie was filmed here in Los Angeles the set was built in the London Warner Bros.Studio.

Margot Robbie has even explained to “AD” how certain items throughout the dream house are 3D and 2D. We will be able to tell throughout different areas of the movie such as items in the refrigerator. We can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must have been to source only pink paint and decor.
